Every once in a while you meet somebody...

and something surprising happens.

Sometimes, it's weird, but you do something for somebody else, having not to think of yourself but to think of the other person. A friend of mine is facing such a situation. What does it mean to do the right thing for someone else's sake? It means love. It can go unnoticed. It can go sour. It can go honored and respected. It can create anger. It can build faith.

i feel like sometimes that really loving someone means that you and that person might have to hurt more than if you just sort of loved them. you know,to take the easy way is, well, easy. but, do we really want easy? i see the easy or more moderate path in life as sort of loving someone. i see the harder path with challenges and hardships, yet growth, as the really loving someone. hopefully this makes sense, but i dont even know if i understand what i am saying.
