The lasting characteristic of a spiritual man is the ability to understand correctly the meaning of the Lord Jesus Christ in his life, and the ability to explain the purposes of God to others. The overruling passion of his life is Jesus Christ. Whenever you see this quality in a person, you get the feeling that he is truly a man after God's own heart.

where do i get one of those? ;) yes, that is what we should ultimately desire to be--a person after the Lord's heart. can you imagine if your heart beat with his desires and passion constantly? amazing.it would be hard to handle, but the lord would help you to carry it. those times that he has given me a tiny glimpse of his heart have been filled with joy, but also painful because you see his hurt as well.
